Nigerian tapas restaurant backed by Beyoncé 👑 @chukusldn in North London received a funding boost from Queen Bee as part of her pledge to spend $1m on businesses near her world tour, including 10 black owned-businesses in London The sibling run restaurant is the only Nigerian tapas restaurant in London and uses a tapas concept to allow everyone to sample as many of the Nigerian flavours that they grew up with as possible 🇳🇬 🍌 for my plantain lovers (how could you not be), there’s a main dish option (deliciously tossed in coconut and cinnamon) and a plantain waffle for desert served with caramel ice cream Had to have some staple jollof rice and adalu (stew of naturally sweet Nigerian honey beans - My DB always makes me eat a handful of beans and plantain at the same time) The sinasir & miyan taushe dish was my fav in terms of uniqueness as I’ve never seen this served in a restaurant before (rice pancakes served with a pumpkin-peanut stew) Also really enjoyed the egusi bowl (cassava dumplings with a trio of stew), suya meatballs and the caramel kuli kuli wings (the caramel and gingery peanut biscuit was delishhh). 🍹 also shout out to the chapman punch cos it slapped and was stronggg The menu has vegan, gluten-free and halal options so there is no reason not to visit right now 🫡 Thank you for a lovely evening @chukusldn PR invite booked through @joli_app

It’s twice been voted best Sunday roast in the UK so @hawksmoorrestaurants is definitely one to add to your London list. It comes with delicious slow roast rump, served with beef dripping roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, carrots, greens, roasted shallots & garlic and lashings of bone marrow & onion gravy (£27). We loved the stuffing (£7) with a decadent mix of bone marrow, onions, high-grade sausage and lots of fresh herbs. The restaurant is family friendly with incredibly helpful staff. There are high chairs and baby changing. Our little one was made to feel very welcome. The cocktails are amazing and we loved the sticky toffee sundae for pudding too. Viral £19 Halal Steak Platter with chips and salad in London 🤩 *AD PR 📍Swiss Butter (Holborn) 💷 £19 for meat, chips, baguette and meslun salad platter This restaurant only has 4 items on their main menu and it’s halal. This is Swiss Butter located in Holborn serving up this platter of meat, huge portion of chips, baguette and salad for just £19. You can also switch the chips for a jacket potato. You can choose either chicken, beef fillet, salmon or rib eye and it is served on top of their famous swiss butter sauce which is made of butter and 33 herbs and spices ✨ I kept seeing this on my fyp so ofcourse we had to visit, we opted for the rib eye and the beef fillet which was delicious. For rib eye, we requested medium rare and medium for the beef fillet. For desserts we got the molten chocolate (£9.75) and pain perdu (£9) which is like french toast pudding, it was soft and fluffy. 📝 They only do walk ins so try and visit when it’s off peak, to avoid long wait. It’s usually around an hour to an hour and a half. Beyoncé funded this restaurant and I can see why- you can get delish Nigerian small plates, boozy Nigerian drinks and some sick Nigerian beats for one of the best brunches in London @chukusldn 😍 . Would you agree? 😍 I absolutely LOVED this Roast Dinner from @hawksmoorliverpool Hawksmoor is located in a beautiful Grade 2 listed building (that used to be a bank!) right by Castle Street in Liverpool city centre! Sadly they didn’t have any truffle shavings available to top 😩. There’s an option to get the table side service, where you can watch them swirl it in a cheese wheel in front of you - it felt like a personalised touch and was fun to watch. 🍝 Both of the starters we picked were great; very aesthetic and some interesting colours & flavours. The bread basket was a good addition, especially at £2pp! London bar with LIVE MUSIC where you get to pick the songs! @thepianoworks 🎤💃🏻 I recently visited the ✨NEW✨ Piano Works located in West End (5 mins from Covent Garden station) I LOVE that you get to request your own songs for the live musicians to perform. Plus the photo booth is an extra bonus! If you’re looking for a fun lively night either in a big group or just the two of you, this is the place. Definitely recommend booking as it got very busy!
